Member Spotlights

Dr. Eric Brown De Colstoun, Research Physical Scientist in the Biospheric Sciences Laboratory at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt Maryland, hosted ABA student Patrick for the Summer 2022 Career Ready Internship. Through the internship, Eric’s mentorship allowed Patrick to participate on a team of NASA scientists to contribute data collection to Landsat Pixel measurement to determine land cover in the GLOBE Observer app.

Dr. Wingate, an associate professor at Howard University School of Pharmacy, is an honorary ABA Platinum Member. He served as the mentor and lead research guide for ABA’s inaugural Advanced Internship Program placement, designed for ABA’s top high school students to conduct university-level research on advanced biotechnology topics.
